The Village Library Celebrates National Library Week
"Food for Fines"
Program
Bring in listed non-perishable items for the
Twin Valley Food
Bank.
Each item donated will earn you $1 off new or existing fines.
Rules:
- You must present each item at the circulation desk with your library card
during normal library business hours. No donations left "at our
doorstep" will be accepted toward fines.
- Items must be new, non-perishable items, preferably those listed below.
- Amnesty is for overdue fines only - this will not apply to other charges
(for example - damaged or lost books).
- This program is good during the dates of April
13 - 19, 2008.
- The Twin Valley Food Bank and the Village Library welcome your donations
toward this worthy project, even if you don't have any fines!
Items that will be accepted are as follows:
New, Non-perishable Food Items - Cans of beef stew, canned vegetables,
canned soup, boxed
dinners, boxed macaroni and cheese, "Hamburger Helper" style items
New, Unopened Paper Goods - Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, baby wipes
